Warfare (2025): Real-Time Hell in Ramadi
In the chaos of 2006 Iraq, following the Battle of Ramadi, a U.S. Navy SEAL platoon known as Alpha One occupies a nondescript two-story house under the cover of darkness. Their mission: establish a surveillance position and provide overwatch for joint operations. What begins as a routine operation spirals into a harrowing fight for survival when insurgents launch a ferocious assault.

D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai delivers a powerful performance as Ray Mendoza, the JTAC communications specialist coordinating desperate air support. Will Poulter commands the screen as Lieutenant Erik, the steady-yet-stressed Officer in Charge holding the team together. Joseph Quinn brings raw intensity as Sam, the Leading Petty Officer navigating the escalating crisis.
Supporting cast includes Cosmo Jarvis as sniper/corpsman Elliott (a role dedicated to the real-life platoon member who was severely wounded), Kit Connor, Finn Bennett, Charles Melton, Taylor John Smith, Michael Gandolfini, Noah Centineo, and more. Told entirely in real time and drawn from the actual memories and testimonies of the soldiers involved, Warfare strips away Hollywood gloss to deliver unrelenting tension, visceral combat, and profound brotherhood under fire.

This A24 war drama, co-directed by Iraq War veteran Ray Mendoza and Alex Garland (Civil War), is a boots-on-the-ground experience like no other — raw, immersive, and unforgettable.
