Awakening the Code: The Matrix (1999) – A Cyberpunk Revolution

In a world where reality is an illusion, computer programmer Thomas Anderson (Keanu Reeves) leads a double life as the hacker Neo. Plagued by the question “What is the Matrix?”, he is contacted by the mysterious Trinity (Carrie-Anne Moss), a leather-clad rebel with unmatched skills. But the Agents — cold, relentless programs led by the smug Agent Smith (Hugo Weaving) — will stop at nothing to eradicate the rebellion. As Neo discovers his potential as “The One,” he must confront his destiny in an epic battle of minds, machines, and freedom.
