“Karen’s Fight: A Lifetime of Care, Now a Battle of Her Own”

💖 Karen spent 30 years caring for others.

As a nurse, she was the one holding hands in hospital rooms, comforting families, and standing beside patients during their hardest moments. 🏥

But life changed when she began experiencing symptoms that were initially dismissed in the emergency room. After further evaluation, she was diagnosed with Ovarian cancer—already at stage IV.

Now, Karen is facing her own fight.

A mother of four.
A grandmother of three.
And a patient preparing for another major surgery. 💔

Despite everything she is going through, she continues to think of others.

Over the years, she has collected more than 30 wigs—not just for herself, but to share with other cancer patients who are beginning their own journeys. ✨

Her dream is to create “Karen’s Closet,” a space where patients can feel supported, seen, and less alone during treatment.

Because for Karen, this battle is not only about survival.

It’s also about advocacy.

About making sure voices are heard when something feels wrong.
About reminding others that symptoms should never be dismissed.
And about turning personal pain into purpose. 🕊️

Even in the midst of her own fight, she continues to give.

And in doing so, she is still doing what she has always done—

caring for others. 💖
