By the year 2026, a sudden and catastrophic geo-engineering failure has plunged the Earth into a permanent, hyper-aggressive Ice Age. Civilization has collapsed under miles of snow and sub-zero temperatures. The few remaining pockets of humanity survive in underground bunkers, isolated and starving.

Hope emerges with a faint transmission from “The Last Frontier,” a rumored sanctuary located near the Arctic Circle that utilizes geothermal energy to sustain life. A desperate mission is launched to reach it. The fate of the human race rests on the shoulders of an unlikely trio who must navigate the frozen wasteland in specialized, heavy-duty tracked vehicles.

Leading the expedition is Commander Jack Rourke (Vin Diesel), a disgraced ex-special forces operative and expert mechanic who knows how to keep machines running in the deadliest conditions. He is forced to rely on Tuka (Jason Momoa), a rugged, solitary pathfinder and hunter who knows the treacherous, shifting ice better than anyone. Their precious cargo is Dr. Elias Thorne (Cristiano Ronaldo), a brilliant but pampered climatologist who holds the scientific data necessary to ensure the sanctuary’s long-term survival.
