Drayke Andrew Hardman, 12 years old, was a sweet boy with big blue eyes and a heart full of kindness. He just wanted to make friends and spread joy. But despite his efforts, he was relentlessly bullied at school. The bullies found every reason to hurt him, even though Drayke kept trying to befriend them.

Tragically, on February 9, 2022, after enduring so much pain, Drayke took his own life. He passed away the next day, surrounded by his family. A loving 12-year-old boy was gone because he could no longer bear the cruelty he faced.

As parents, teachers, and a community, it’s our responsibility to teach children kindness and to recognize and prevent bullying before it’s too late. No child should ever feel so alone, so broken, that they believe they have no way out.
