In the quiet village of Kanchi, Bangladesh, an 11-month-old girl named Chingrung Mro was born with a rare condition that left her with a tumour growing from her brain, covering half of her face. This tumour, present since birth, grew steadily over the months, severely affecting her ability to live a normal life. The tumour, which now covers the center of her face, not only put her health at risk but also made basic daily activities a challenge.

Chingrung’s family, already facing financial hardship, found themselves unable to afford the medical care needed to treat their daughter. In their rural village, the costs of healthcare were beyond their reach, and their only hope seemed to lie in finding a way to access treatment in the capital, Dhaka. However, the financial barrier remained insurmountable—until a glimmer of hope emerged.

Fabian Gomez, a compassionate social worker, took it upon himself to launch a social media campaign to raise awareness of Chingrung’s plight.
