WAL TIMMY: RESCUE WITHOUT IFS AND BUTS — END THE SPECTACLE 

The clock is ticking, and Timmy, the stranded humpback whale, continues to endure unimaginable suffering. Every moment he remains stuck in the shallow waters of the Baltic Sea is another moment of pure torture. His body is weakening, his breaths shallow, and with each passing hour, his agony deepens. The world watches, helpless, as he lies trapped, unable to move, growing weaker by the minute.

We hope for a rescue today. The operation has already begun, and it must be carried through without hesitation. This is Timmy’s last chance — there can be no more delays, no more second-guessing. Time is running out.

The Stakes Are Life and Death

If Timmy survives the rescue, he will be given a real shot at life. He will be able to return to the ocean, to the freedom that all creatures of the sea deserve. But if the rescue fails — if the operation is unsuccessful — at least his suffering will be ended quickly, instead of prolonging the agony he is enduring in these shallow, unforgiving waters.

We cannot stand by and let him suffer for days on end, weak and unable to escape. We cannot keep watching as he sinks deeper into misery. If nothing else, let us release him from this prolonged suffering.

Surrender Is Not an Option

Timmy deserves a chance at life — and if he cannot have that, he deserves to be freed from his pain.
