In the dead of winter, a catastrophic earthquake reduces Seoul to rubble. Amid the ruins, one ordinary apartment building — Hwang Gung Apartments — miraculously remains intact. As freezing temperatures and desperate outsiders threaten the survivors inside, the residents must confront the darkest sides of human nature to protect their fragile new home.
