🚨 TWO TODDLERS DROWNED IN DAYCARE POOL—OWNER ADMITS GUILT AS QUESTIONS GROW 🚨

A devastating case of negligence has left a community grieving after two 1-year-old girls, Payton Cobb and Lillian Jade Hanan, lost their lives in a tragic drowning incident at a daycare facility.

According to prosecutors, the children had been dropped off that morning for routine care. The daycare environment appeared normal at first, with children being supervised and activities underway. However, in the hours that followed, a fatal lapse in supervision occurred.

Investigators say 42-year-old daycare operator Nina Fathizadeh allowed several toddlers to play outside in a backyard area while she went indoors to prepare breakfast. During that time, a critical safety measure failed—an exterior gate leading to a nearby pool area was left unsecured.

Within minutes, the two toddlers wandered away from the supervised space and entered the pool area unnoticed. By the time they were discovered, both children were unresponsive.

Emergency services were called immediately, but despite efforts to revive them, the children could not be saved.

Authorities later charged Fathizadeh with multiple felony counts related to child endangerment and negligence. She has since pleaded guilty and faces a potential sentence of up to 23 years in prison.

The case has sparked widespread outrage and sorrow, raising difficult questions about childcare safety standards and supervision protocols.

For the families of Payton and Lillian, the loss is unimaginable—two young lives cut short in what should have been a safe, protected environment.

As the legal process concludes, the community continues to mourn and search for answers to one painful question: how could such a tragedy unfold in only a matter of minutes?
