When Manny, Ellie, Sid, Diego, and Scrat reunite, they discover the cause: a massive prehistoric structure buried beneath the ice, known in legend as The Climate Core — an ancient natural engine that once kept Earth’s balance during the first Ice Age. Now, it’s destabilizing.

To fix it, the herd must journey across wildly clashing biomes — frozen tropics, melting ice cities, volcanic tundras — facing new creatures adapted to chaos, including a cunning pack leader who believes the old world must freeze forever to survive.

Sid accidentally becomes the “chosen one” of a strange tribe that worships seasonal change. Diego confronts his fear of becoming obsolete in a world that no longer needs predators. Manny faces the possibility that protecting his family may mean letting go of the world he knows.
