Years after peace returns to Middle-earth, darkness stirs beneath the Lonely Mountain.
A forgotten evil awakens in Erebor, born from the shadow Smaug left behind.
Bilbo Baggins is called from the Shire once more, drawn into a journey he never wished to repeat.
Alongside Gandalf, Legolas, and Tauriel, he descends into ancient halls hiding a deadly secret.
Old alliances strain as greed, pride, and the curse of the Arkenstone resurface.
What sleeps beneath the mountain could reshape the balance of the East forever.
An epic tale of legacy, courage, and the rising shadow no one believed survived.

As Bilbo and his companions delve deeper into Erebor, they uncover that Smaug’s death was merely the beginning of a far darker saga. In the deep vaults, an ancient force—old as the mountain itself—has been slowly gathering power, lying dormant, waiting to claim its throne. Legends speak of a dark sorcerer, bound by chains forged by the dwarves, whose return could cast the world into another age of darkness.

Tensions rise as the mountain’s once-thriving kingdom stands divided. The dwarves, led by Thorin’s heir Dáin, are torn between the desire to reclaim lost wealth and the realization that the Arkenstone’s curse still looms. Meanwhile, elves and men begin to question their past alliances with Erebor, unsure of the true price of peace. As old wounds reopen, the shadows that once threatened Middle-earth begin to stir again.

In the heart of the mountain, Bilbo’s courage is tested as never before. In a race against time, he must navigate through treacherous traps, solve riddles that seem to be centuries old, and uncover the truth behind the sorcerer’s return. With the ancient power of Erebor rising, Bilbo faces an impossible choice: seek refuge in the Shire once more or confront a darkness that might tear apart the world he loves.

As alliances crumble and enemies close in, Bilbo’s quiet wisdom and Gandalf’s unyielding hope might be the only things that stand between Middle-earth and a new age of destruction. The forces of darkness are gathering, and the courage of even the smallest hobbit will be tested in ways no one could have predicted. The question is not whether they will survive, but whether they will rise to meet the shadow, or fall beneath its weight.

“In the shadow of Erebor, the past is never truly gone. And neither is the darkness it left behind…”
