Ariana Madix was called out by fans for ‘lipsyncing for her life’ during her Macys Thanksgiving Day parade performance on Thursday.

The Vanderpump Rules star, 39, who has been axed from the show as they completely recast the line-up, took to the Peacock float to perform a cover of The Cardigans’ Lovefool. 

The Love Island USA host looked radiant in a white jacket and sweater – but viewers quickly accused the star of not performing live during the performance.

One wrote: ‘Ariana Madix lip syncing for her life’ while a second typed: ‘Umm is the #Macysparade2024 so desperate for people they are willing to scrape the bottom of the barrel to get Ariana Madix lip singing very badly to a 90’s song?’

Others wrote: ‘Ariana Madix with the most obvious lip sync maybe ever

Another fan praised the star for her performance, writing: ‘Why is Ariana Madix the only person that knows how to accurately lip sync everyone else has been struggling all morning at this parade.’

Bravo’s Vanderpump Rules is being completely recast for season 12.

Madix joined the cast of the hit reality TV series, which follows the bartenders and waitstaff at Lisa Vanderpump’s LA H๏τspot SUR, in season two.

The drama surrounding the end of her nine-year romance with Tom Sandoval — who cheated on her in 2022 with co-star Rachel Leviss — dominated seasons 10 and 11.

The new cast consists of ‘close-knit SUR-vers who are as complicatedly involved with one another as their iconic predecessor,’ the network said as they announced the show’s renewal. 

Lisa Vanderpump will be returning and the upcoming season will begin filming next year. The new cast and premiere date will be announced down the road.

‘Under Lisa Vanderpump’s watchful eye, the West Hollywood mainstay SUR — and now TomTom — welcomes the next batch of servers, hosts and bartenders rife with plenty of drama, situationships and frenemies,’ the release noted. 

Lisa stated in the announcement: ‘The last 12 years of filming have been an extraordinary run full of laughter, tears and everything in between. I can’t thank enough those who have shared their lives. 

‘How I love you all. In the restaurant business, one shift always gives way to another. Cheers to the next generation of Vanderpump Rules,’ she said.

A spin-off of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Vanderpump Rules first began airing in 2013 and followed the lives of the wait staff working for Lisa Vanderpump’s various LA restaurants

Season 10 became a defining season for VPR after Sandoval cheated on Ariana with Rachel; pictured in 2022

Additionally, the show ‘will celebrate the past decade of heartbreaks, friendship rifts and scandals with a retrospective special highlighting the past 11 seasons’, the release states. 

While Madix, Sandoval and the rest of the show’s OG cast will not be returning, Lisa will continue to head the show and the upcoming season will begin filming next year.

The new cast and premiere date will be announced down the road. 

Last year, the parade became the most-viewed in the parade’s history – with A-listers such as Cher and Jessie James Decker performing.

The parade was hosted by Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb and Al Roker – and viewers will have the chance to see an ᴀssortment of eye-catching floats, balloons and performances.
