REVEREND RICHARD COLES
I’m A Celebrity’s Reverend Richard Coles revealed he was once knocked out by a tramp after a huge misunderstanding.
The former vicar, 62, was having an in depth chat with GK Barry about funerals, weird body parts and everything in between when Richard made the surprising revelation.
The podcast host asked Richard if he had ever been involved in a fight and the star’s answer surprised both fans of the show and his fellow camp mates.
Richard explained that he had in fact been involved in a bust up many years ago but the context around the fight was more hilarious than terrifying.
He told Grace that he got in to an altercation after his dog ate a stranger’s sandwich, explaining: ‘I’ve been knocked out by a tramp because my dog ate his sandwich.’
And the influencer could hardly contain herself as Richard elaborated on his story.

The Rev continued: ‘My dog went over to say hello and ate his sandwich. And I went over and he raised his fist – and I said ‘Don’t hit the dog’.
‘And he hit me instead! That knocked me clean out.’
Elsewhere in their chat, Grace asked Richard what his thoughts on funerals were and if he would preside over her own.
In a moment of downtime in the camp Grace asked: ‘Do you wish that you could go and watch your funeral just to see what people say?’
Richard replied he would want to see that it was done according to his wishes, as he told Grace: ‘My funeral at the moment is coming in at 17 hours.’
Discussing funeral catering, the YouTuber shared her strong opinion: ‘I’m very against having quiche at a wake.’
Speaking in the Bush Telegraph about Richard’s funeral, GK said: ‘Rev wants a funeral that lasts 17 hours, feels excessive but I do understand. I’ll be there, I hope I’ll at least be on the sixth row.’
Asking the reverend if he’d officiate her funeral, she said:: ‘I want short, snappy, come out to ‘Staying Alive’ a bit of fun, go into the crematorium ‘Burn Baby Burn’ bit of fun…’
Elsewhere in their chat, Grace asked Richard what his thoughts on funerals were and if he would preside over her own
She went on to say that she hoped her new found friend would ‘cling on’ until she had died.
She said: ‘So I’ve told him he needs to cling on and wait for me to die. He can do my funeral. Then he can die. I can see him putting a bit of pizazz on it, so I like it.’
Explaining he liked dressing up in the clothes for funerals, the celebrity vicar recalled one funeral he led in winter where he was dressed in celebrant wear, including a long full length cloak and a hat.

He told Grace: ‘I was walking down the hill, looking like this, feeling quite pleased with myself, it was a good funeral and a van went past and he leaned out and shouted: “Oi, f***ing Dumbledore!”‘.
And Grace descended once more into a fit of giggles.
Elsewhere in the episode the Rev candidly confessed to an odd quirk.
He shared: ‘I’ve got concave nipples. They do go out, but my default nipple position is in dock.’
Discussing their unlikely friendship, Grace said: ‘Me and Reverend talk about the most random stuff all day.
‘I think I’m going to have attachment issues when I leave here. I’m going to start going too church just to see him.’
Richard echoed Grace’s thoughts, telling the camera: ‘She’s so funny. I love her angle on things. And she’s a decent, kind, good person.
‘I love GK and I hope that we continue to be friends. She just makes me laugh all the time. I think we’re on each other’s wavelength.
‘I would like to have her around in my life. That would be great.’
