The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live – Season 2

Hold up, walkers—before you get too excited, Season 2 is NOT officially confirmed. Despite the buzz and hopeful headlines floating around, the latest updates from AMC’s Chief Content Officer Scott M. Gimple (as of early 2025) make it clear: the show was always planned as a limited series, wrapping Rick and Michonne’s epic love story in those heartfelt six episodes.
That said, Gimple isn’t slamming the door shut. He teases that “you never know” and it’s “entirely possible” we could see Andrew Lincoln’s Rick Grimes and Danai Gurira’s Michonne return—maybe in crossovers with Daryl Dixon or Dead City, or some wild new format. The season 1 finale gave them a rare happy ending (family reunited!), so any more would have to earn it without undoing that magic.
For now, binge the full season on Netflix or AMC+—it’s streaming gold. Fingers crossed for more Rick and Michonne adventures down the line, but no confirmation yet. Stay vigilant!
