The Croods 3 (2026)

The Croods are back, and this time the world itself is having a mid-life crisis.
After finally chilling in their lush valley, a wild tectonic tantrum flips everything: volcanoes burp rainbows, rivers run backward, and brand-new mega-beasts crash the party like uninvited wedding guests. Nicolas Cage’s Grug—still terrified of anything “new”—gets dragged on the ultimate road trip when the ground literally opens up and swallows half their crops. Classic Grug panic ensues.

Emma Stone’s Eep is all in, of course, fist-bumping danger, while Ryan Reynolds’ Guy invents on the fly (think prehistoric zip-lines and dino-powered rafts). Catherine Keener’s Ugga keeps the family glued together with mom-strength and sarcasm. Newcomers Zendaya (a fearless, whip-smart adventurer with serious attitude) and John Boyega (a charming explorer who’s equal parts brave and hilariously accident-prone) shake up the pack, sparking fresh laughs and heart.

The animation pops—vibrant, bonkers landscapes that shift like living paintings, creatures cuter and scarier than ever, and set pieces that feel like rollercoasters. Jokes land for kids and adults alike, but the real magic is the message: change sucks, but family makes it survivable.
Hilarious, heartfelt, and gorgeously wild. The Croods just keep getting better.
4.7/5 ★ Prehistoric fun done right.
