Logline
After a deadly Predator crashes in feudal Japan, a skilled but disgraced samurai must join forces with a mysterious Ainu huntress to stop the creature before it slaughters rival clans—and plunges the region into war.
Plot Summary
A Shift in Time and Place
The year is 1603.
Japan stands on the edge of a new era as the Tokugawa shogunate rises. Tensions between rival clans threaten to ignite a civil war.
During a blood-red lunar eclipse, a fiery object streaks across the sky and crashes deep into the northern wilderness. From the wreckage emerges a Predator variant never seen before—taller, armored in bone-like plates, and equipped with primitive but deadly early-tech adaptations designed for stealth.
The locals name it:
“The Moon Demon.”
The New Hero
Takeshi, once a loyal samurai, lives in exile after refusing an unjust order from his lord. Disgraced and marked as a traitor, he wanders alone—until he encounters the aftermath of a massacre that no sword or arrow could have caused.
There he meets Ruka, a fierce Ainu huntress whose village was wiped out by the same monster. Though she distrusts samurai, she recognizes Takeshi’s skill and honor. Reluctantly, they join forces.
The Predator’s Hunt
The Predator stalks the warring clans for sport, testing its abilities against the finest warriors Japan has to offer:
- Samurai duels
- Ninja ambushes
- Ashigaru spear formations

- Ainu guerrilla hunters
Each encounter teaches the Predator more, making it deadlier.
Its ultimate goal:
Hunt the five greatest warriors of the region during the coming blood moon, a ritual that marks its rite of passage.
Climax
Takeshi realizes the Moon Demon plans to orchestrate a massive battle between rival clans so it can hunt amidst the chaos. Determined to restore his honor and save thousands, he and Ruka lure the Predator to an abandoned mountain temple during a storm.
With no guns, no modern weapons—only blades, ropes, traps, and ingenuity—they wage a brutal fight through crumbling halls, bamboo forests, and rooftops lit by lightning.
The Predator, enraged and wounded, activates a new self-destruct device: a sphere that collapses into a crushing gravity field.
Takeshi sacrifices his chance at redemption by destroying the device with an explosive powder trap, saving Ruka and the nearby villages. Ruka then finishes the Predator using its own bone-blade.
Ending
Ruka carries Takeshi’s katana—engraved with the Predator’s broken mask—back to his clan.
She tells them:
“He died fighting a demon no man could face.”
The final scene:
A Predator ship observes Earth from orbit. Inside, several Predators examine Takeshi’s broken blade. They mark his symbol on a wall of honored warriors…
…and select a new hunter to be sent to Earth.
