Israel launches fresh strikes on Tehran and Beirut, Iran fires missiles in response

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) launched a fresh barrage of large-scale strikes in Tehran in the early hours of Friday local time, according to reports.

The strikes, according to The Jerusalem Post, targeted local terror infrastructure and also saw strikes on Hezbollah in the Dahiyeh area of Beirut, with sirens sounding at the southern Lebanese border.

Sirens were also set off in Israel because of Iranian missile launches.

In a Telegram message, Hezbollah urged people to evacuate areas near the border early Friday local time.

“Your military’s aggression against Lebanese sovereignty and safe citizens, the destruction of civilian infrastructure, and the expulsion campaign it is carrying out will not go unchallenged,” Hezbollah said.
