5:47AM – 6 Iranian MiG-29s With Russia & China Hit a US Carrier, 27 Minutes Later US–Israel Hit Back.hl

Arabian Sea — At 5:47 a.m., six Iranian MiG‑29s, backed by Russian and Chinese surveillance assets, dived out of the dawn haze toward a US carrier strike group in the Arabian Sea, firing a volley of anti‑ship missiles in what commanders now call the “most dangerous coordinated strike” of the war.

Guided by a Russian AWACS aircraft and data from a Chinese spy satellite, the MiGs launched standoff weapons from just outside the carrier’s inner defence ring. Aegis destroyers lit up the sky with interceptors, but at least one missile detonated close aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln, rocking the flight deck, shredding sensors and injuring sailors as aircraft and equipment were thrown across the steel.

For twenty‑seven minutes, the formation turned and ran, hugging sea level under a web of Russian jamming while Chinese-made drones probed for gaps in the US shield. Then the counter‑strike began. From beyond the horizon, US and Israeli F‑35s, already airborne on silent alert, raced in along pre‑planned corridors while submarines and cruisers loosed Tomahawk salvos toward the MiGs’ home bases and nearby Russian and Chinese support ships.

Explosions ripped through an Iranian coastal airfield as hardened shelters and parked jets went up in chain reactions of fuel and ordnance. A Russian frigate that had been providing radar cover was filmed limping toward port trailing smoke, while a Chinese intelligence vessel abruptly cut emissions and fled the area.

By the time the clock hit 6:14 a.m., the Lincoln was damaged but operational — and much of the trilateral strike package that tried to cripple her was burning, sinking or running for home.
