Federal authorities have launched a joint ICE–FBI raid in Washington, dismantling what investigators describe as a drug distribution house allegedly operating with inside protection from a corrupt federal employee.

According to law-enforcement sources, what began as a routine ICE Homeland Security Investigations probe escalated rapidly when evidence surfaced linking a Mexican cartel ringleader to a federal agent accused of leaking intelligence, shielding shipments, and obstructing enforcement efforts from within the system.
