A little boy’s final wish no parent should ever have to hear

A little boy’s final wish that no parent should ever have to hear.

Seven-year-old Filip has spent more time in hospital beds than he ever did running, laughing, or playing under the open sky. Cancer has stolen so much from him — his energy, his childhood, and now, slowly… his time. With every passing day, his breaths grow softer, his body weaker, but deep inside that fragile chest, one final wish remains:

“When I die… I want to be buried next to my mummy, so she can look after me.”

Filip never knew his mother’s face, as he lost her when he was just a baby. But the ache of missing her never faded. Now, his father sits by his side, holding his small hand through every fading breath, carrying the weight of a promise no parent should ever have to keep:

To bring his boy home.
To lay him beside the woman who loved him first.
To make sure he is never alone again.

Because no child should ever have to ask for that… and no father should ever have to carry such a heart-wrenching burden.
