Synopsis:
Years after his escape, Jaguar Paw (Rudy Youngblood) has forged a hidden life with his people deep in the jungle . When burning omens streak across the sky and thunder rolls from the sea, he discovers ships of pale‑skinned invaders dragging steel, fire and a new god’s symbol onto the shore .

A battle‑scarred warrior from the great city (Tenoch Huerta) is forced to guide them upriver, while a young seer and interpreter (Yalitza Aparicio) sees visions of forests turned to ash and children in chains .

As disease spreads, old rivalries are twisted into alliances and betrayals, Jaguar Paw must choose between striking first or leading a desperate flight deeper into lands no tribe has ever claimed. Under eclipsed suns and raining embers , he learns that surviving the old world was only the beginning of the new one.
