WICKED: PART TWO – FOR GOOD (2025)
Following the events of Wicked: Part One, Oz stands divided. Elphaba, now branded the Wicked Witch of the West, lives in exile, using her growing powers to protect Animals and expose the lies of the Wizard. Her name is feared across the land, twisted into legend by propaganda, even as her actions quietly save lives.
Meanwhile, Glinda has embraced her role as the symbol of “Good.” Celebrated, adored, and politically useful, she enjoys everything she once dreamed of — yet the cost is heavy. Bound to the Wizard’s regime, Glinda begins to realize that goodness, when controlled by power, can become another form of cruelty.
As resistance spreads and Oz teeters on the edge of collapse, the bond between the two women resurfaces in painful, unexpected ways. Old choices return with consequences neither can escape. Love, betrayal, and regret intertwine as both women are forced to confront who they’ve become — and who they were to each other.
The Wizard’s rule begins to unravel when the truth about his rise to power is revealed, igniting rebellion across Oz. Elphaba faces a devastating decision: fight openly and become the monster the world believes her to be, or disappear entirely so that change can survive without her.
In the emotional climax, Elphaba and Glinda meet one final time. They acknowledge that their friendship has irrevocably shaped them both — not by keeping them together, but by pushing them onto different paths. Their farewell is not defeat, but acceptance.
