Johnny Depp has been single since the end of his brief but serious romance with lawyer Joelle Rich – but tongues are wagging over apparent links with a Dior influencer half his age.

Spanish beauty Jess Bordiu has interests in music, film, fashion, travel and pH๏τography – and one of the closest members of Depp’s team follows her on Instagram.

The influencer also seems to be very interested in the actor, posting a video of herself dancing on his birthday writing: ‘Happy birthday Johnny Depp.’

Bordiu often writes about the Pirates of the Caribbean star and is apparently a fan, even dressing up as Willy Wonka for a post earlier this year. 

Meanwhile one pH๏τo on Twitter last year looks as if it was taken from the stage while the star was performing.

Jess also – perhaps by pure chance – happened to be in Seville when Johnny was there for a film festival earlier this month.

She also happened to be in San Sebastian when he was there in September and her Instagram suggests that she is now in London, where Johnny is living.

The pair also both work for Dior, as Jess has been seen posting paid content for the fashion and fragrance house, while Depp is the face of Dior’s Eau Sauvage.

Meanwhile Depp’s source shut down the rumours as they told The Mail’s Alison Boshoff: ‘She was not travelling with us in Seville or in San Sebastian. She doesn’t have a connection to Johnny. He’s enjoying the single life, not dating anyone.’

Johnny previously enjoyed a romance with London lawyer Joelle Rich which supposedly began during the court battle with his ex-wife Amber Heard back in 2022. 

It was said that they enjoyed ‘off the scale chemistry’ however in November of that year their relationship was said to have fizzled out. 

A friend of Depp’s said at the time: ‘Are they still an item? We are not talking about a normal couple here. It’s not a big, stable, committed love affair and I’m not sure that it ever was. 

‘I don’t know if they are together in any way at this point. Certainly I don’t believe it is a serious romantic relationship, or even an exclusive one.’

The source added: ‘Firstly, he has just come out of a mᴀssive legal battle [with ex-wife Amber Heard], so who would want to commit after that? It has been an extremely traumatic period for him.

‘Secondly, he’s Johnny Depp and I don’t think a standard committed relationship is going to be his thing.’

Meanwhile Johnny is about to travel to Riyadh for the Red Sea Film Festival where his film Modi will appear. 

It was made with Saudi money. He also went to the Red Sea Film Festival last year with Jeanne du Barry, which was also partly funded by Saudi money.

Depp’s return to Hollywood has just been announced – in a movie called Day Drinker, alongside friend and frequent co-star Penelope Cruz.

She will play a bartender on a cruise ship while he is her ‘enigmatic’ day-drinking client. The movie, which is being made by Lionsgate, is an action thriller as the pair will find themselves entangled with organised crime. The cameras will roll from February in the Canary Islands.

Depp stepped away from acting for a period when he went through two libel cases – one in the UK and one in the US –centring on allegations that he had beaten former wife Amber Heard.

He lost in the UK but won damages from Amber in the US in 2022. She has now retired from acting and is now living in Madrid with her daughter Oonagh.
