Brittany Mahomes won’t let being pregnant stop her from working out.
Brittany, 29, shared a video via Instagram Story on Friday, November 22, of herself squatting with 20 pounds. “Happy Friday!!!!! Still squatting my life away,” the soon-to-be mother-of-three captioned her video along with a smiley face emoji, adding, “Get ya movement in today.”
Brittany and her husband, NFL star Patrick Mahomes, announced in July that she was pregnant with the couple’s third child. The two already share daughter Sterling, 3, and son Bronze, 2. Earlier this month, Brittany revealed the exercise routine she was starting to struggle with since becoming pregnant.
“Step ups — the one workout that kills me the more pregnant I get,” she wrote via Instagram Story on November 8, alongside a clip of her engaged in various workouts. In another video shared via Instagram Story, she noted that she still enjoyed other workouts, including doing sumo squats with hand weights.

Fitness instructor Kristy Rae revealed Brittany’s fitness routine in October, sharing via Instagram how she was training to avoid something called “mom ʙuтт.”

“Many women experience what’s called ‘mom ʙuтт’ during and after pregnancy, which happens when the glutes lose shape and muscle mᴀss,” Rae captioned a clip of Brittany’s workout. “This is often due to changes in posture and how we move as our bodies adjust to pregnancy.”
Rae continued, “By focusing on glute engagement and maintaining strength training, you can actually continue to build muscle. It’s all about proper movement, posture, and progressive overload.”

Brittany has been working hard in her third pregnancy, stating via her Instagram Story in July that this has been her most challenging pregnancy so far.

“Good morning, just me and my skin thats [sic] losing its mind,” she captioned the July post. “This pregnancy has been the hardest on me … sickness, exhaustion and now skin!”
Brittany previously cited “staying consistent” with her workouts as a surefire way to stay fit year-round, which helped when she was called to pose for her first Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue.
“People have asked me a lot what I did in the gym to get ‘Swimsuit Ready’. Fun fact – I sH๏τ for @si_swimsuit on literally a week’s notice 🤪,” she shared via Instagram in May. “I always preach that staying consistent in the gym and fueling my body well is what helps me be the best version of myself year-round, not just during swimsuit season!”
