š HE WAS JUST BORN⦠AND ALREADY FIGHTING FOR HIS LIFE
What should have been the happiest day of their lives⦠turned into a nightmare they never saw coming.
Baby Woodsen was born prematurely.
Instead of celebrating his arrival, his parents were met with fear, confusion, and devastating news that would change everything in an instant.
Their newborn son was diagnosed with a rare and life-threatening heart condition: transposition of the great arteries (TGA).
A condition so severe that the main arteries connected to his heart are completely reversed.
This means something unimaginableā¦
Oxygen-rich blood cannot properly reach his body.
Every breath becomes a struggle.
Every second becomes critical.
Instead of being held in his parentsā arms, Woodsen was rushed straight into the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) ā surrounded by machines, tubes, and constant monitoring.
A place no parent ever wants their child to be.
There, his tiny body fights to survive, while his parents stand by helplessly, watching, waiting, praying.
They canāt comfort him the way they want to.
They canāt take away the pain.
All they can do⦠is hope.
Hope that he stays strong.
Hope that his body holds on.
Hope that he makes it to surgery ā the only chance to correct what his tiny heart cannot.
Because without it⦠time is not on his side.
Every hour feels like forever.
Every update brings both relief and fear.
And through it all, one question echoes in their hearts:
Will their baby boy survive this fight⦠and finally come home?
š Please follow his journey and keep baby Woodsen in your prayers.
Because sometimes, the smallest hearts are fighting the biggest battles
