🌿 Kylie Kelce on Teaching Her Daughters Autism Awareness & Acceptance 💛

Kylie Kelce is sharing thoughtful insight into how she is raising her four daughters to understand autism, kindness, and acceptance in everyday life.

Appearing on CBS Mornings alongside Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Jihaad Campbell, the 34-year-old mother opened up about how she introduces conversations about neurodiversity at home in a natural and age-appropriate way.

Kylie explained that her daughters — Wyatt, Elliotte, Bennett, and Finnley — have grown up with a close family friend known affectionately as “Uncle Tim,” who is on the autism spectrum. Because of this close relationship, discussions about autism are not abstract or distant in their household; they are part of their daily lived experience.

She shared that she speaks to her children in a straightforward and matter-of-fact way about Tim’s behaviors and communication style. For example, she helps them understand that if he doesn’t always respond immediately, make eye contact, or engage in typical greetings, it does not mean he doesn’t care. Instead, she reinforces that he still loves them and enjoys being around them — just in his own way.

Kylie emphasized that these conversations are important in helping her children develop empathy early, rather than confusion or judgment when encountering differences in others.

Beyond autism awareness, Kelce has also been open about her broader parenting philosophy. She and her husband, Jason Kelce, prioritize raising their children with humility, responsibility, and gratitude. She has spoken about wanting her daughters to grow up grounded, despite their family’s high public profile.

On a recent podcast, she explained that much of their parenting style comes from their own upbringing, where lessons were often learned through everyday responsibilities rather than luxury or excess. Simple experiences, like driving older family cars or doing chores, helped shape their understanding of accountability.

Kylie acknowledged that she is “hyperaware” of the privileges her children have due to their family’s visibility and success. However, she says this awareness makes her even more intentional about balancing opportunity with responsibility.

She also stressed the importance of teaching children basic life values, such as cleaning up after themselves and appreciating what they have, rather than expecting constant comfort or entitlement.

Despite the challenges that come with public life, Kylie says her ultimate goal remains simple and consistent: to raise kind, respectful, and grounded human beings.

As she put it candidly with humor, what matters most is ensuring her daughters grow into “good people” — compassionate, aware, and considerate of others.
